How long is the teaching period?
Both Session 3 (November) 2020 and Macquarie University International College (MUIC) T6 2020 will be 8 weeks long intake with 1-2 weeks recess break depending on the unit(s) that the students are enrolled in.
What do you mean by ‘online’?
Lectures are recorded or delivered live via Zoom or a similar platform, and tutorials are conducted in your time zone (or available later for viewing), supplemented with live chats with lecturers, tutors, and academic support staff. Where possible, we have adjusted our timetables to support students to access Live Stream by prioritising live classes to be scheduled in the afternoon Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time (AEDT).
How do I apply?
Applications can be made through one of our authorised representatives in your country or direct through our online application portal. Applications close 23 November 2020
What if I’m unsure about studying online?
If you’re unfamiliar with online learning and commencing off-shore, we are providing flexibility through a special refund policy. You will be able to withdraw from your study and receive a full refund prior to census date, meaning as an undergraduate or postgraduate student, you will have approximately two weeks of classes to experience online study with Macquarie.
Will the full range of subject options be available?
Due to the intensive delivery mode option, only limited subjects will be available. The options are generally from the core zone of your degree, meaning you’ll be able to complete some of your compulsory subjects early.
