“Studying international security and experiencing diverse cultures overseas during my Bachelor degree launched my interest in the sector. Therefore, I applied for a Masters to expand my knowledge and focus my career path. I specialised in intelligence.
Completing an internship with a NSW Police Cybercrime Unit was one of my highlights of the course. I hadn’t previously focussed on this topic, but it was a great experience and I learnt so much from a law enforcement perspective.
The sector is amazingly diverse - people working and studying approach it from various walks of life and multiple perspectives, which I embraced as I was studying.
I’m looking forward to starting work as a cyber security consultant at EY after graduation.”
