Welcome to GEM. It’s Macquarie University’s design system for digital products and experiences. It’s new, it’s exciting.
• | As Government funding for research has continued to decrease, coupled with the COVID epidemic impacting our student revenues, researchers need to seek alternate funding sources to continue their work. |
• |
The Office of Commercialisation and Innovation and the Incubator have developed a blended learning program for researchers and HDR Candidates to actively assess the path of their research to commercialisation / IMPACT. |
• |
The program provides an interactive, practical and cohort-based approach that takes researchers through the process of: • customer discovery • product market fit • the impact and value proposition canvas |
• |
After the program, participants will have learned new skills to be able to view their research through the lenses of their customers and investors and make evidence-based decisions about their research, pursuing the best commercialisation pathway for maximum impact.
