Is this a woke moment for brands? In the current state of disruption with the #BLM and #MeToo movements, brands are expected to react. But are they reacting to appease consumers or are they reacting to create meaning? In this woke world, consumers look for more than just keyboard social warrior justice, consumers search for action and meaning.
The creator of our Global MBA unit, Become a Meaning Maker, alongside the Global MBA Course Director A/Prof Lan Snell, will dive into the brand activism, the spillover effects of such movements and how we can differentiate from tokenism to becoming a meaning maker.
