Dr Andrew Burke

Dr Andrew Burke completed a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Resource Management) and a Bachelor of Laws at Macquarie University and a subsequent Master of Laws at the University of Sydney, before undertaking his PhD at Macquarie on the topic of the sentencing of environmental crimes. Dr Burke is a former director of Environmental Defenders Office NSW, a specialist environmental legal centre. Before joining Macquarie Law School, he was a solicitor in private practice specialising in criminal defence.
