Associate Professor Verity Pacey

Course Director of the Doctor of Physiotherapy program and Head of the Department of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences

Verity has over 15 years of experience as a clinical physiotherapist and supervises students and clinicians undertaking higher degree research. She is an international leader in the physiotherapy management of individuals with Connective Tissue Dysplasias and speaks at both national and international levels. Her teaching excellence has also been acknowledged, having been awarded a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.

About the program

Our Doctor of Physiotherapy is the only three-year professional-entry postgraduate physiotherapy degree in New South Wales.
You’ll develop the skills to be an outstanding physiotherapist, learn from highly qualified and experienced lecturers, and benefit from our industry connections.
You’ll have access to world-leading research facilities, such as the Macquarie University Hospital – Australia’s first university-led teaching hospital on campus – and the MQ Health Physiotherapy Clinic, our clinical and academic partner of the Doctor of Physiotherapy.
